Led by Horne's 21 points and five steals, the team coached by B.A.B.'s president Jason Curry gave chase to Team 524 which featured Robert "Stix" Mitchell. Even though Mitchell scored a game high 35 points, the combined efforts of John Lucas, Jr. (19 points), Brownlee (16 points, 6 rebs) and a late surge by University Virginia's all-time leading scorer Sean Singletary (13 points), Lucas and Horne sealed the deal down the stretch.
Horne was all over the place, scoring below the rim as well as way, way above it. In addition he pulled some riveting midair hijackings of the basketball that shifted the momentum.
Another notable on the B.A.B. was Eric Devendorf who contributed 9 points. Evans came off the bench and added 4 points as well.
