After leaving a highly successful high school career at Omaha (Neb.) Central behind, Deverell Biggs pricked right up where he left off and became a standout on the national junior college scene.

Though Tim Miles made it clear in his introductory press conference that he would not be recruiting foreign or junior college players as a rule, the new Husker head basketball coach has apparently made an exception in the case of Biggs due to his local ties.
